The versatile Mali international has been very impressive for Crystal Palace recently.

Bakary Sako was on the scoresheet in both of those games, with the attacker seizing his opportunity as a substitute.
Capable of playing up front, out wide or as an attacking midfielder, Sako has been mainly used as a substitute this season, but his recent performances indicate that he perhaps deserves the chance to start some games as Hodgson rotates his side during a hectic period of games.
Sako’s flair and power can cause problems for opposing defenders, and, buoyed by his two goals, the Malian is now full of confidence.
Palace face struggling Swansea City away tomorrow and it wouldn’t be especially surprising if Hodgson considered using Sako from the outset, given the current form that he is in, with the manager having the option to rotate some players.
