Leeds United’s back up goalkeeper is staying focused.

Leeds United's Bailey Peacock-Farrell roars in celebration and is mobbed by team-mates after saving a late penalty effort by Reading's Marc McNulty during the Sky Bet Championship match...

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been a spectator for much of 2019.

He was Leeds United’s first choice in the first half of the season, but never totally convinced manager Marcelo Bielsa.

Leeds signed Real Madrid back up Kiko Casilla, relegating Peacock-Farrell to the bench.

His only club action since has been in the one match Casilla was suspended for, although he has since featured for Northern Ireland.

Peacock-Farrell could still end up playing a part in Leeds’ play-off hunt, in the event of injury, illness or suspension for Casilla.

He is fully focused and looking forward to the challenge.

Leeds face Derby County over two legs, and then would be up against either Aston Villa or West Bromwich Albion at Wembley.
