Leeds United-owned goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his debut for York City at the weekend.

Peacock-Farrell recently joined National League North club York on a temporary deal from Championship outfit Leeds.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper made his debut for Martin Gray’s side against Leamington at the New Windmill Ground last Saturday afternoon.

The Minstermen were 2-0 up until the final minutes when they concede twice and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Peacock-Farrell is a very good and talented young goalkeeper, and the youngster can only get better with regular first-team football.

True, the National League North is not exactly a great domestic football league, but playing week in and week out is only going to make Peacock-Farrell better.
