Marcelo Bielsa will stay at Leeds United next season.

The Championship club announced on their official website last month that Bielsa will stay as the first-team head coach next season.
The Argentine was appointed as the Leeds head coach in the summer of 2018, and he guided the Whites to the Championship playoffs this season.
Leeds eventually failed to clinch promotion to the Premier League, but the 63-year-old is hugely popular among the Elland Road faithful.
Northern Ireland international goalkeeper Peacock-Farrell, 22, is pleased that Bielsa will stay on as the Leeds boss next season.
Peacock-Farrell told The Irish News: “It’s great to have the stability of the manager staying another year. At Leeds we’ve had a lot of managers who have come and gone.
“So to have a manager like Bielsa, with his pedigree, remain at the club is absolutely huge. You can see the progress that we have made under him and hopefully with him staying on as manager we can build on that next season.”

Promotion push
Bielsa got the best of the players he inherited when he was appointed the Leeds head coach last summer, and fans will expect the team to maintain the same level.
If Leeds give funds to Bielsa to bring in two or three quality footballers in the summer transfer window, then the West Yorkshire outfit will be among the favourites to finish in the top two of the Championship next season.
