Bailey Peacock-Farrell has sent a light-hearted message to Leeds teammate Jamal Blackman on Twitter after the Whites posted a series of images from the training ground, including one which shows the latter getting annoyed with his teammates.

The pair are vying for the number one jersey at Elland Road this season. Many would have probably expected Blackman to be the man that got the nod at the start of the campaign, with Chelsea agreeing to loan the youngster to Leeds for the season.

But after Peacock-Farrell got the majority of pre-season to stake a claim to Bielsa, he has kept the gloves in the Championship and generally performed extremely well.

Given those almost surprising turn of events, some may have expected Blackman to be frustrated with the situation that he finds himself in. But the images from training suggest that the pair are working extremely well alongside each other.

In fact, Peacock-Farrell has joked with Blackman that he needs to stop complaining after the club posted a handful of photos of the goalkeepers – who were joined by Will Huffer – in training, with one showing Blackman clearly remonstrating with the rest of the group.

Judging by Peacock-Farrell’s tweet, the summer signing has just earned himself a forfeit that he would prefer to avoid…

The positive that Leeds fans can perhaps take from the images is that it is another reminder of the team spirit that exists amongst the current Whites squad.

As mentioned, Blackman would probably not have expected to still be waiting for his Championship debut for Leeds at this stage of the season, but if there is any frustration he is seemingly using it in the right way as he waits for his chance.
