Tottenham Hotspur’s Oliver Skipp was in action again for Norwich City on Tuesday night, and despite impressing his new fans, they were let baffled by his positional change during the game.
For the final 20 minutes of the goalless draw against Milwall, Daniel Farke opted to play the combative Spurs midfielder as a right wing-back.
That decision didn’t sit well with the Norwich supporters, who were left perplexed by the idea, as that move didn’t have any real effect on the game.
Skipp’s performance overall was met with some positive reviews and some fans even felt that he should have been awarded the Man of the Match award.
This is a great learning curve for Tottenham’s academy product, who will be hoping he impresses enough in the second-tier to earn a place in Jose Mourinho’s plans for next season.
Helping Norwich earn promotion at the first time of asking would help his cause massively and perhaps even result in him moving back to the club again on-loan if they earn promotion to the big time.

Nonetheless, it seems as though Skipp is building quite a reputation in England’s second-tier, as the tough tackler will be hoping to push his side into the top-two places when they take on Swansea City at the weekend.
Here is a selection of Norwich supporters reacting to Skipp’s positional change and his overall performance:
