Arsenal captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang couldn’t resist taking a cheeky dig at Tottenham Hotspur on his live stream on Twitch (1:50).
Aubameyang was playing FIFA to keep himself occupied over the international break, when a supporter wrote in his chat that he was enjoying his broadcast, despite not being an Arsenal fan.
And the rapid forward used the opportunity to have a dig at some of his former club’s rivals, including Tottenham.
“This is what I like boys, you can support whatever team, I don’t care,” he said, with a smirk.
“If you love football then that’s it. You can come on my live and enjoy it.
“Even if you are a fan from a bad team like Tottenham, you know. Or Lyon, same s***, or Schalke.
“I’m just joking guys, come on!”
Aubameyang’s cheeky comment is likely to go down well with Arsenal supporters.
But it is Tottenham who may actually have the last laugh this season, as they are currently ahead of the Gunners in the Premier League standings.
Neither of the North London duo have had the campaign their supporters were hoping for this term, but Spurs are currently three places and six points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League table.
Arsenal return to action after the international break with a difficult game against Liverpool, while Jose Mourinho’s side take on Newcastle United.
