Tottenham Hotspur have been surprisingly linked with a shock move for Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha, with SkySports reporting they are keen on a £15 million move.
Zaha, 23, is a player with great potential whose transfer early in his career to Manchester United did not pan out, but one who could potentially flourish under Mauricio Pochettino’s coaching.
Yet one key factor could count against him being a success at White Hart Lane… he is an Arsenal fan.

Zaha made the admission in 2013 to The Sun, explaining that he expected to one day sign for the Gunners before switching to Manchester United.
He said: “It was always Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal in terms of where I could be going.
“I have always supported Arsenal. I did not expect United to come in but they did.”

His Gunners fandom did not affect him at Old Trafford, instead it was an inability to win over David Moyes, but it may be more difficult for Tottenham fans to stomach.
Of course fans have all seen pictures purporting to show Harry Kane in an Arsenal kit as a kid, but the striker came through Tottenham’s academy and has been their best player over the past two seasons.
Zaha has been steady but unspectacular at Palace in the same timeframe, overshadowed by Yannick Bolasie, and he will have to take a big leap forward in order to establish himself as a regular in the Tottenham team – and a fan favourite.
