Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Barry Douglas against Pacos de Ferreira.
Douglas was in action for Leeds in their pre-season friendly match against the Portuguese club at Thorp Arch on Saturday afternoon.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side won 3-1 to continue their preparation for the upcoming Premier League season, and 31-year-old left-back Douglas played well.
The Scotland international produced a wonderful delivery for Pascal Struijk’s goal and put in quite a few dangerous balls into the visiting team’s penalty box.
Douglas was deployed in central defence in the second half, and while he did not particularly look great in an unfamiliar position, the former Wolverhampton Wanderers did not make any massive mistake.
It is not clear if Douglas will be the first-choice left-back at Leeds next season, with Stuart Dallas having made that position his own despite being a winger by trade.

Celtic are reported to be interested in the Scottish defender, with The Daily Mail reporting last month that the Scottish Premiership champions have held talks with the Whites over a potential transfer for the 31-year-old.
Some Leeds fans have given their take on the performance of Douglas on Saturday afternoon.
