Paul Merson has predicted on SportsKeeda that Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United will lose against Brentford away from home at the Brentford Community Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.
Brentford will play hosts to Leeds in the league on Saturday afternoon.
Former Arsenal star and Sky Sports pundit Merson believes that the West Yorkshire club will lose the match 2-1.
Paul Merson predicts Brentford v Leeds United
Merson wrote on SportsKeeda while predicting a 2-1 win for Brentford: “Leeds are in a bit of a sticky patch with their last two games.
“I didn’t like what the manager said after the Brighton game. I think they got slaughtered by Brighton on the day, and the scoreline papered over the cracks.
“Brentford are a bit up and down at the moment, and there’s not a lot to separate these two teams. Brentford have shown promise, however, and I will back them to win this game.”
Tough game to call
In our opinion, the Premier League game between Brentford and Leeds United this weekend will be quite tight.
Yes, the Bees are doing well at the moment, but Leeds are also a very good side.
When Leeds are on song, they are a really hard to win against, and even away from home, one should not be surprised if they pick up all three points against the Bees.
Leeds have not been particularly great in their past two Premier League games, but they can get the better of Brentford.
As Merson notes, there is not much between the Bees and the Whites, but Leeds will be determined to get back to winning ways and get their season back on track, and that motivation could get them all three points.
