Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has said that Cristian Romero will return to training at Hotspur Way today, as quoted in Football.London.
Conte made the comments about Romero after Tottenham’s failure to win against Brentford in the London derby on Boxing Day.
Tottenham came back from two goals down to play out a 2-2 draw with Brentford in the Premier League.
After the match on Monday, Conte said that Argentina international central defender Romero will be back in training with Tottenham today.
The 24-year-old £42.5 million (Football.London) defender was an integral part of the Argentina side that won the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Cristian Romero is one of the best defenders in the Premier League, and the Argentina international being back in training from today is very good news for Tottenham Hotspur.
That Tottenham conceded two goals against Brentford shows how much they need to improve at the back.
Romero is a World Cup winner with Argentina, and his importance at the back for Tottenham cannot be undermined at all.
Tottenham are very much in the race for the Premier League top four and have also progressed to the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League this season.
