Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma has suggested on Instagram that he could start against Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham will take on Sporting away from home in Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League tomorrow.

Spurs won their opening Champions League game 2-0 against Marseille at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week.

Bissouma came on as a substitute in the 85th minute.

After the match, the 28-year-old – who joined Tottenham from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window for £25 million (Sky Sports) – took to Instagram to express his delight at making his debut in the UEFA Champions League.

The midfielder has been training with the rest of the Tottenham players at Hotspur Way today.
