Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi wants to join Napoli, not Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United or Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report in Calico Napoli 24.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Napoli want to sign Ounahi, who has been linked with Leeds and Tottenham in the January transfer window.
Ounahi wants to join the Serie A club and they know it, according to the report, which has added that the Italian outfit are trying to lower the transfer fee that Angers are demanding.
Azzedine Ounahi stance a blow for Leeds and Tottenham
The 22-year-old Morocco international’s desire to move to Napoli will come as a blow for Leeds and Tottenham.
Both the Premier League clubs have been strongly linked with Ounahi, who played for Morocco at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and was described as “absolutely incredible” by AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho in Goal in December 2022.

L’Equipe reported this week that Leeds have made a bid of €25 million (£22 million) for the youngster.
According to La Repubblica last week, Tottenham have been in talks with Angers over Ounahi.

But it seems that the youngster favours a move to Napoli, who could win the Serie A title this season.
Ounahi has made 13 starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 for Angers so far this season.
