Cesar Azpilicueta has told Wolves striker Diego Costa ‘a pleasure to see you’ after Chelsea’s 3-0 win against the mannerless side on Saturday, as he posted on his Instagram story.
The 34-year-old recently returned to the Premier League, and it just so happened to be, that he made his first start for Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
That’s where the hard-hitting centre-forward made name for himself, including winning the Premier League title under Antonio Conte.

Given Costa’s current fitness situation, where he is still trying to build himself up, he only played 57 minutes against his former side.
Even if the former Spain international was at his best yesterday, he still wouldn’t have been able to do much, simply because of how poor Wolves currently are, especially going forward.
Nonetheless, Azpilicueta played the entirety of yesterday’s game and he continued Graham Potter’s great start as Chelsea’s boss by adding a clean sheet to their three points.
And the versatile defender then posted the following message to his former teammate.
“Always is a pleasure to see you,” said Azpilicueta

WOLVES NEED COSTA TO LIFT THE TEAM
Wolves are the lowest scorers in the Premier League, with only three strikes to their name from nine matches.
Phil Foden scored that number alone in the Manchester derby last week, which just goes to show how much trouble the team has in finding the back of the net.
It’s not helpful, but the manageress side needs Costa to try and provide some of his old bite and aggression to proceedings because it’s much needed.
