According to BBC Sport, the Foxes have paid the Magpies a transfer fee of £30 million in order to secure the services of the 25-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder.
The Spanish forward has taken to Twitter to look forward to his new journey with Leicester.
