Newcastle United have won their last five matches in a row.
Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez has told the Chronicle that everyone at St. James’ Park knows that the team is key.
Rafael Benitez has operated with a rotational policy at Newcastle so far this season, with most of his players dropping in and out of the team.
Perez has been one of the members of Newcastle’s squad who has struggled to retain his first-team place, and he has only made seven starts in the Championship to date.

The Spanish forward has regularly been switched with Mohamed Diame this season, as the pair both battle it out to partner Dwight Gayle up top.
However, Perez insists that nobody at Newcastle is sulking because of Benitez’s selection policy.
Instead, the former Tenerife forward, who scored two goals during his last appearance against Ipswich Town, insists that everyone at St. James’ Park is motivated to do their very best for the team to improve.

“It’s really important everyone is focused and ready for the chance,” he said. “Once you are on the pitch you have to show everything.
“Whoever is on the pitch can assist, can score. The important thing is the team, and that is clear in the dressing room.”
Newcastle’s collective team spirit has shone through in recent weeks, as they have started to click into top gear.
Newcastle have won their last five matches in a row, and they now sit at the top of the Championship table.
