Leeds United defender Luke Ayling has praised his Elland Road teammate Tyler Adams on Instagram for his performance for the USA against England at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Adams was in action for the USA against England on Friday evening.
The World Cup match ended in a goalless draw.
Adams was one of the best players on the pitch and produced a superb performance for the Americans.
The Leeds star has been brilliant for Jesse Marsch’s side so far this season, and the £20 million star (Sky Sports) has taken that form to the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Against England on Friday evening, Adams was more defensive than fellow USA international midfielders Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah and did his job perfectly well in midfield.
The Leeds star read the game perfectly, closed down space, worked tirelessly, and imposed himself in the middle of the park.
It was a truly brilliant performance from Adams, and his Leeds teammate Ayling was impressed.
The result means that USA can still qualify from the group and into the last-16 stage of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
