Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting to footage of Diego Llorente scoring an absolute peach in training for Spain.
The centre-half wandered into unchartered territory in training, dashing into the box, before firing a fierce outside of the foot shot into the top corner.
Dare we say, this was Ricardo Quaresma-esque? Llorente may be a centre-half, but he’s shown some exquisite technique in banging this one in.
As you can imagine, Leeds fans had plenty to say about this footage.
One Leeds fan humorously suggested that he must have learnt that from Luke Ayling, alluding to the right-back’s wonderstrike against Huddersfield Town last term, while others were simply in awe of what Llorente did.
Leeds are an attacking side, but when their centre-backs start scoring goals like this, you can’t help but be stunned.
Fingers crossed we can see one of these strikes in the Premier League between now and the end of the season.
