James Maddison is a player in demand, with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal all linked with the Leicester City attacking midfielder.

The Telegraph reported over the weekend that Newcastle have bid £40 million for Maddison, but Leicester have turned it down.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Dean Jones told Give Me Sport on July 20 that Tottenham “have touched base over Maddison”.

Also over the weekend, 90min claimed that Arsenal are keen on the England international attacking midfielder.

Maddison may be in demand, but the Leicester star seems to be focused on the season ahead, as indicated by his latest post on Instagram.

Could a transfer happen?

In our view, James Maddison could join Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur or Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, if Leicester City are paid what they want for the playmaker.

The Foxes are looking for £60 million in transfer fees for the 25-yer-old, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth on Twitter.

The question now is whether Newcastle, Tottenham or Arsenal will pay £60 million for Maddison, who scored 12 goals and gave eight assists in the Premier League and scored one goal and gave two assists in the Europa League last season.
