Aston Villa fans don’t exactly appear keen on rumours that they are interested in Liverpool duo Rhian Brewster and Divock Origi.
Goal claim that Villa are looking to snap up Brewster on loan from Liverpool, while the Daily Mirror say that Origi is a target.
Villa are known to be aiming to increase their quality up-front over the summer.
But the idea of signing either Brewster or Origi from Liverpool doesn’t seem to have excited Villa fans very much.
Origi and Brewster could both be available from Liverpool, as they look set to play a back-up role over the upcoming campaign.
Origi has shown a happy knack of scoring important goals for Liverpool in recent seasons, but he has failed to displace the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino in Jurgen Klopp’s side’s starting line-up.
Brewster, meanwhile, has shown plenty of promise – but is completely unproven at the top level.
Villa badly need to find a goalscorer who can hit the back of the net frequently, as the likes of Keinan Davis, Aly Samatta and Wesley all struggled to do so over the past campaign.
