Jonathan Bamba should be top of Celtic’s list this summer.

Celtic are yet to make their move in the transfer market this summer… but when they do, Jonathan Bamba should be top of their list.
Bamba is available on a free transfer with his Saint Etienne contract running down, and The Sun has this year linked him with West Ham, Huddersfield and Crystal Palace.
Celtic can offer Bamba two things those clubs cannot, firstly the chance to play Champions League football.

Secondly, and just as important, will be the opportunity to link up with Moussa Dembele.
The two players have been key parts of France’s under-21 side, and they combined this week as Bamba set up Dembele to score against Italy.
A move for Bamba would show some real ambition by Celtic and could be enough to keep Dembele put.

He is just 22-years-old, and a switch to Celtic could be the right step in his career, allowing him to play continental football while picking up a winner’s mentality.
A future France international, he has terrific re-sale value like Dembele if Celtic can get him.
He scored seven goals and provided eight assists in Ligue 1, and the fact he is available on a free transfer almost seems too good to be true, but it’s real, and Celtic should be going all out to try and land him this summer.
