Arzani has completed a move to Man City, and is now expected to join Celtic on loan.

City confirmed they had completed the permanent signing of 19-year-old Arzani on their official Twitter account, landing the Socceroos World Cup star from feeder club Melbourne City. Details of the move are yet to be announced.
It is believed that Arzani is now set to move on loan to Celtic, where he is expected to join the club for the next two season – replicating that of Patrick Roberts who has since returned to City after first joining Celtic in January 2016 on loan.
Arnold, who has taken over from Bert van Marwijk of the Australian national side after the Dutchman was only installed for the tournament in Russia, claiming Arzani believes he will benefit from moving to Celtic.
“He’s a very intelligent kid, he knows what his plan is, he knows what his goal is and he’s got good people around him to advise him,” Arnold said.
“He believes that going to Celtic he’ll get to play more games in Scotland and being part of a Champions League squad than he probably would in Australia.”
Arzani broke into Melbourne’s side last season, scoring two goals and creating another three for the Australian giants in 24 appearances – nine of which were from the substitutes bench.
Some reports have claimed that Man City are treating the move for Arzani in a similar way to Aaron Mooy’s move to the Etihad, in a bid to make a profit on the Aussie by loaning him out before offloading him on a permanent basis.
Brendan Rodgers will be hoping Arzani makes more of an impact than Charly Musonda, who joined the club from Chelsea in January on an 18-month loan only to have that scrapped this summer after a dismal six months.
