Juventus want to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is wanted by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, according to TMW.
What’s the story?
Italian news outlet TMW are reporting that Juventus have identified Arsenal striker Aubameyang as the player to replace former Manchester United forward Ronaldo.
Premier League champions City are keen on signing Ronaldo before the summer transfer window closes next week.
If the former Real Madrid star leaves for the Etihad Stadium, then ex-Italian champions Juventus would look at bringing Arsenal striker Aubameyang as a replacement.
Could a transfer happen?
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said this week that he would not sell Aubameyang.
The striker struggled last season, but 32-year-old Gabon international reminded everyone what he is capable of with a hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion this week.
Arsenal will surely not want to sell their number one striker so close to transfer deadline day.

However, a big offer from Juventus could be tempting, especially for Aubameyang.
While Arsenal could struggle to even challenge for the Europa League places in the Premier League table this season, Juventus will be looking to reclaim the Scudetto from Inter Milan and will also compete in the Champions League.
