Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are willing sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Juventus, who want the Gunners striker as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to TMW.

What’s the story?

TMW have reported that Juventus are interested in signing Aubameyang from Arsenal before the summer transfer window closes next week.

Former Manchester United star Ronaldo has told Juventus that he wants to leave now.

Manchester City are keen on signing the former Real Madrid forward, according to ESPN.

So, Juventus have identified Arsenal striker Aubameyang to replace Ronaldo, according to TMW.

The report in the Italian news outlet has added that Arsenal are willing to negotiate with Juventus and want €20 million (£17.15m) as transfer fee for the 32-year-old Gabon international striker.

Massive U-turn

TMW‘s report suggests that Arsenal have made a massive U-turn on the future of Aubameyang.

The London Evening Standard quoted Arsenal manager Arteta as saying only yesterday that the former Borussia Dortmund striker “will remain” at the Emirates Stadium.

Now, we have to point out that this report is from an Italian news outlet.

We have yet to get reports from the English media about a potential move for the Arsenal striker to Juventus.

Aubameyang is the number one striker at Arsenal, and with the transfer window to close in a matte of days, it is going to be extremely tough for the North London club to bring in a suitable replacement.
