Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is clearly enjoying life after Arsenal.
The 32-year-old striker had his contract in North London terminated in January following being exiled by Gunners manager Mikel Arteta.
Aubameyang wound up joining Barcelona on a free transfer and on Sunday he scored his first hat-trick on his full La Liga debut.
Many Arsenal players wished their former teammate and captain well upon his departure.
And Rob Holding has reacted to the Gabon international’s Instagram message after scoring the hat-trick.
In response, the 25-year-old Arsenal defender wrote: “Aubama what!!!”
Alexandre Lacazette, who enjoyed a bromance with Aubameyang during his four years at the Emirates Stadium, also responded by posting flame emojis in tribute to his mate’s red-hot form at the Mestalla.
This is Aubameyang’s second hat-trick at the Mestalla after scoring another treble there for Arsenal in a Europa League semi-final during the 2018-19 campaign under Unai Emery.
Earlier on Monday, HITC Sport wrote that the striker’s form at Barcelona could result in Arteta being sacked.
If Aubameyang fires Barca to Champions League qualification, and Arsenal miss out through a lack of goals in their side, it’ll be a horrible reflection on the Spanish manager and one that, ultimately, could prove fatal for him.
