Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Joao Felix and Dusan Vlahovic, but a report in CMW has suggested that the Gunners could miss out on both the Atletico Madrid attacker and the Juventus striker.

Arsenal linked with Joao Felix and Dusan Vlahovic

According to The Times, Arsenal want to sign Vlahovic from Juventus in the January transfer window.

The Gunners are looking at signing a new striker due to the injury to Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus is on the sidelines at the moment after the former Manchester City striker picked up an injury while playing for Brazil at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

The report added that the £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) Vlahovic himself is open to leaving Juventus in the middle of the season, despite moving to the Turin club from Serie A rivals Fiorentina only in January 2022.

AS reported this month that Arsenal are interested in Felix, while 90min have claimed that Chelsea, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Paris Saint-Germain all want the Portugal international, who can operate as a forward, winger or attacking midfield.

Reported swap

However, according to a report in CMW, Arsenal could suffer a blow in their quest to sign Felix and Vlahovic in a single move.

The Italian news outlet have claimed that Atletico are interested in signing Vlahovic and are willing to send Felix to Juventus in a swap deal.

Now, it is not clear how Juventus would respond, but Feliz ix a very good and promising young forward, and the former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners could be tempted.

Arsenal could suffer a double blow in a single transfer move.
