Atletico Madrid may have complicated any potential Liverpool move to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to Spanish publication, AS, Atleti have turned their attention to Aubameyang after Dortmund made it clear they would be willing to sell the 28-year-old if their £63m valuation was met.

This would not be good news for the Reds in their own pursuit of the Gabon international, which Le Parisien originally reported was moving forwards after owners Fenway Sports Group agreed to meet the asking price.
Anfield appeared to be a likely destination for Aubameyang after favourites for his signature, Paris Saint-Germain, pulled out of the race – according to the Metro.
It was thought the lure of reuniting with manager Juergen Klopp – who originally signed the striker for Dortmund from Saint-Etienne in 2013 – would help ease through a switch to Merseyside.
Yet this latest development from Madrid could scupper those plans; although there is still hope for Liverpool by virtue of the fact that because of a FIFA-imposed ban, Atletico would have to delay the transfer until January.
