West Ham United left-back Arthur Masuaku has played eight times for Manuel Pellegrini’s side so far this season.

Masuaku has played fairly frequently for West Ham this season, but he has not been entirely convincing.
The attacking left-back has been caught out at the back on occasion, and it seems that a number of teams felt Manuel Pellegrini may let him leave in the January transfer window.
However, Masusaku’s agent has quashed the suggestions that the Frenchman could depart.
Galariotis said: “It’s true, I received a lot of calls, but Arthur is happy at West Ham and has been convinced by the arrival of Pellegrini that they will have a great season.”
Masuaku’s apparent decision to stay at West Ham is good news for Pellegrini’s side, as it bolsters their options down the left-hand side.

Masuaku is capable of playing at left-back or down the left-wing, and he is currently fighting for his place.
Aaron Cresswell came back into West Ham’s team for their last match, which they drew 1-1 with Huddersfield Town.
Pellegrini’s side are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Manchester City.
