Premier League chasing Leeds United reportedly want to reunite Marcelo Bielsa with La Liga ace and former Spain international Ander Iturraspe.

Athletic Bilbao have confirmed that Ander Iturraspe will leave the club this summer when his contract expires amid speculation linking the Spaniard with a move to Leeds United.
The 30-year-old has spent his entire career with the Basque outfit but his importance has diminished this season, featuring in a total of just three La Liga games.
And AS reported back in March that Leeds could offer Iturraspe a fresh start over the summer. Marcelo Bielsa is a huge fan of the two-time Spain international, who played a key role as the Argentine’s free-flowing Athletic side reached the Copa del Rey and Europa League final in 2012.
So the fact that the La Liga giants have now bid farewell to Iturasspe, confirming on their official website that he is leaving the San Mames, will surely not have gone unnoticed in West Yorkshire.

“Athletic Club would like to thank (Iturraspe) players for his commitment, dedication and professionalism throughout this time and wishes him all the best in their personal and sporting future,” they wrote, in homage to a player who made over 300 appearances for the club in 11 years as a first-team player.
It remains to be seen where Iturraspe ends up next.
El Gol Digital claimed that Getafe, the great overachievers of Spain’s top flight who are sitting in a Champions League place with just a few weeks of the season remaining, are also interested in snapping up the veteran on a free transfer.
