Gazetta dello Sport have reported, as relayed by Tutto Atalanta that Atalanta chief Lee Congerton is ready to re-establish contacts with Leicester City over a loan signing involving Jeremie Boga.
In the summer, it was claimed by Sport Italia that Boga had rejected a deadline day loan move to Leicester right at the death.
While one fails to understand why the former Chelsea winger did so, it could well be due to a fear of making a Premier League return to a side that was bang out of form.
Last season, the Leicester-linked Jeremie Boga had played a mere 24 minutes in an Atalanta shirt since joining the club for £19.3 million (€22 million) in January, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.
While some predicted that things would look on the up for Boga in his first full season under Gian Piero Gasperini, the once-prolific wideman is yet to make a single start for the club in Serie A.
And in all competitions, the versatile forward, speculated with signing for Leicester on a temporary basis has made 2 starts in all competitions.
However, the Foxes could get a positive update in their pursuit for the 26-year-old.
Atalanta ready to re-open talks with Leicester over Jeremie Boga loan

According to a new report by Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed by Tutto Atalanta, Atalanta chief Lee Congerton is ready to re-opens talks with Leicester City over signing Jeremie Boga on loan.
It has been mentioned that the Atalanta chief is eyeing sending Boga to Leicester on loan, but with an option to buy.
Leicester must embrace the chance to finally bring in the winger
With Leicester City underwhelming under Brendan Rodgers since the start of the season, they must be open to signing Jeremie Boga, albeit on loan.
If Boga impresses, Leicester can activate the option to buy him and if not, he returns straight back to Atalanta.
The Foxes must put their pride aside to bring the tricky wideman in, as they are in desperate need of reinforcements and the deal on the table is a win-win for them.
