A big few days await Aston Villa and Tottenham fans as they bid to keep hold of their star men.

Kaveh Solhekol has told the Transfer Show on Sky Sports News (02/08/21 at 5:10 pm) that there is a ‘difference’ between how Tottenham and Aston Villa are seemingly reacting to interest in their players.

The Sky reporter suggested that, at Tottenham, Kane seems to be ‘at war’ with those behind-the-scenes, but over at Villa Park things are ‘pretty amicable’ between Grealish and the club.

Manchester City are eager to sign the talented England duo this summer, as reported by Sky Sports, but understandably so, both Villa and Spurs don’t want them to go.

This is what Solhekol had to say about how things are like behind closed doors in the Kane and Grealish transfer sagas.

“We have been told by different sources that he (Grealish) has a release clause of £100 million in his contract,” said Solhekol. “Although, other people are telling us that’s not the case.

“There is a difference, looking from the outside, regarding Harry Kane and Jack Grealish.

“Kane appears to be at war with Spurs today. That may change tomorrow.

“But as far as Jack Grealish is concerned, everything behind the scenes is still pretty amicable. But of course, he has a big decision to make because Man City want him.”

Well, given that Kane hasn’t turned up for training on Monday then it perhaps says a lot about where his head is at.

As for Grealish, he did report to training after a break, as Villa fans pray that he stays put in B6.

It begs the question as to what it would do to the competition levels of the Premier League if they are able to sign two of the best players in the country.

Given that Man City are already Premier League champions and they reached the European Cup finals last season, everyone might as well book their holidays for next summer because the trophies are heading only one way.
