Florian Plettenberg has suggested that Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are more interested in Jeremie Frimpong than Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
The Sky Germany journalist has reported on Twitter that Arsenal and Manchester United will have to pay £35 million if they are to sign Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.
Plettenberg has claimed that Frimpong is not a hot topic at Arsenal, but Premier League rivals Manchester United are monitoring the 22-year-old former Celtic right-back.
Do Arsenal need Jeremie Frimpong?
In our opinion, Arsenal do not need to sign Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are not in desperate need of a right-back at the moment.
Ben White did exceptionally well at right-back last season despite being a central defender by trade.
Takehiro Tomiyasu is also an option at right-back for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners are reportedly on the verge of signing Jurrien Timber from Ajax as well.
The 22-year-old Netherlands international can operate as a right-back or as a centre-back.
So, we do not think that Arsenal need to spend £35 million on another right-back, especially one who is only 22 and is still learning his trade.
