Alan Shearer has named his Premier League Team of the Week, and there are no prizes for guessing which Arsenal player made the cut this time around.
Indeed, Bukayo Saka earned a spot in Shearer’s midfield after his fantastic performance against Watford at the weekend.
The winger scored a brilliant goal against the Hornets, while also grabbing an assist as the Gunners earned a narrow victory.
Shearer was, quite simply, blown away by Saka, claiming that the youngster was at the heart of everything positive for Arsenal.
What’s been said?
Shearer was full of praise for Saka when naming his Premier League Team of the Week.
“A magnificent goal, an assist and at the heart of everything good Arsenal produced,” Shearer said.

Unplayable
When Saka is in that sort of mood, he’s unplayable.
On Sunday he was absolutely electric, every time he got on the ball he wanted to make something happen, and the sheer confidence he must have to attempt the shot that led to his goal must be on another level.
Saka has long been viewed as one of the brightest young talents in the Premier League, but perhaps it’s time to move him into the bracket of being genuinely just one of the best players in the division.
Saka certainly deserves his Team of the Week spot, and it’s not outrageous to suggest that he should be in the Team of the Season come May.
