Newly-promoted Cardiff City are interested in landing the experienced Spaniard.

Wolverhampton Wanderers could still do with another striker to act as competition for Leo Bonatini and on-loan striker Raul Jimenez, and they should consider a late move to rival fellow promoted outfit Cardiff City.
Besiktas are willing to sell the Spanish striker due to his hefty contract, and that could see Cardiff land the striker who has a decent record in the Premier League.
Indeed, Negredo has scored 18 and created another nine in 68 matches for both Boro and City – with 14 of those coming from the bench and nine goals in a Boro side that were eventually relegated. He won the Premier League in 2013-14.
Cardiff are interested in landing the powerful striker, but Wolves should do all they can to lure Negredo to Molineux in order to provide Premier League experience as another up top alongside Jimenez and Bonatini.
Negredo showed during 2017-18 at Besiktas he still knows how to find the back of the net at the top level, scoring 15 goals and creating nine assists in 43 league and cup outings.

Adding him into a mix of big-name signings including Joao Moutinho, Rui Patricio and soon-to-be Adam Traore would give Wolves the excitement and optimism required to push on and remain in the Premier League next term.
At such a bargain fee, Negredo must be considered by Wolves’ scouting team.
