Speaking on his podcast, David Seaman has been waxing-lyrical about Harry Kane after his brace against Everton on Monday.
The striker was absolutely fantastic against the Toffees, he netted a wondergoal from a volley and provided another clinical finish as Spurs ran out 5-0 winners.
Kane hasn’t had the best of seasons so far, but Seaman believes that the striker is now back to his best.
What’s been said?
Seaman reviewed Kane’s performance against Everton.
“That’s Harry Kane at his best, when he has the chance you just know it’s a goal,” Seaman said.
“You look at Harry and you think that he’s just back to his best isn’t he? And that is great to see because he’s a proper, proper striker.”
Seaman then spoke about Kane catching Alan Shearer in the all-time Premier League scorers list.
“There’s a few good ones above him,but he still has a few good ones above him. He has a few seasons to get there and it will be close. He’s quality and especially if he goes to Manchester City, he’ll do it next week.”

Back to his best
Seaman says Kane is back to his best, and we’re inclined to agree.
Against Everton, he truly looked to be dialled in. He was absolutely incredible against the Toffees and he was playing on pure instinct once again.
This season, Kane has had so many issues in front of goal. To begin with it was put down to a Euros hangover and speculation over his future, and that goal drought eventually led to frustration that didn’t help matters either.
However, Kane is now playing on instinct again and he’s once again been putting away chances in a manner that only he can.
