Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told The Mirror that he is doing at Spurs what he did at Chelsea.
Conte has confirmed rumours that he has banned certain food items from Hotspur Way.
The Athletic reported earlier this month that the former Chelsea boss has banned fast food, ketchup and mayonnaise.
The Italian tactician has now confirmed that rumour.
What Antonio Conte has said
Conte told The Mirror: “At Chelsea, it was the same – we spoke about the importance of eating well.
“At every one of the clubs that I trained I had a nutritionist and these aspects are important because you have to stay in the right weight and to do that you have to have the good fat and the good muscle.
“This is a part of our work now and the player’s work – to be professional.
“To be professional means you have to take care of your body. If you do this, you recover well and you are at less risk of injury for sure. You are also ready to face the training if sometimes the training is hard.”

Making an immediate impact at Spurs
Conte is one of the best manages in the world and is very big on fitness.
Chelsea legend John Terry recently said on Twitter that he was at his fittest under Conte.
The former England international central defender was in his mid-30s when he worked under Conte at Chelsea.
Banning certain items is only going to help the Tottenham players get fitter.
In our view, Conte is starting to make an immediate impact at Spurs.
Now, it is unlikely that Tottenham will challenge for the Premier League title this season.
However, Spurs will challenge for the Champions League places this season.
Tottenham fans should be optimistic about the season ahead.
