Rangers are reportedly interested in Wolves star Iorfa.

Rangers could make the signing of the January transfer window by bringing highly-rated Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Dominic Iorfa to Ibrox for a reported £500,000 – but Celtic cannot let them go without a fight.
The Sun report that Steven Gerrard wanted to sign the versatile 23-year-old in the summer, and is now set to reignite that interest in the January transfer window for the knockdown price of just £500,000.
Iorfa came through the Wolves ranks and made his debut for the Midlands club as a 19-year-old in a 2-1 loss to AFC Bournemouth in the Championship, almost four years ago in December 2014.
He showed huge potential at Molineux and has since played 93 times for his boyhood club. But since the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo, Iorfa has plummeted down the pecking order.
Last season, he went on loan to Ipswich Town and struggled to just 23 Championship appearances. This season, he is yet to play for Wolves and has since been a regular member of the club’s Under-23 side.
Now, Iorfa has a decision to make on his future. Wolves will want to sell the defender in the January transfer window, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season – meaning he will leave on a free transfer.

Rangers are able to land the young defender on a pre-contract agreement from January 1 – if he does not sign a new deal. English clubs will have to wait until the end of the season.
Rangers have plenty of options at centre-back, but Gareth McAuley’s contract ends at the end of the season and Joe Worrall is only on loan from Nottingham Forest. It can be argued though, that Celtic need a centre-back more so.
Dedryck Boyata is out of contract, while Filip Benkovic is only on loan. Jack Hendry and Marvin Compper have all failed at Celtic, while Jozo Simunovic remains injury plagued. Iorfa would be the perfect January buy.
At just £500,000, Celtic have to rival Rangers for the defender – who can also offer cover on the right side of defence.
