Aston Villa, Fulham and Middlesbrough are all interested in Bristol City defender Aden Flint, but should Leeds join the chase?
Newly appointed Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen needs to make signing at least one new centre-back a top priority this summer.
Securing Pontus Jansson on a permanent deal from Torino after a successful loan spell in 2016/17 was important, but currently Liam Cooper remains the only other option in the position.

Leeds were hoping to sign another loan star from last season permanently in Kyle Bartley, but the Daily Star claims the Swansea City defender is more likely to reunite with Garry Monk at Middlesbrough in a £7.5m deal.
If that does materialise, then perhaps the Whites should be taking a closer look at another centre-back said to be on Boro’s radar – Bristol City’s Aden Flint.
According to the Daily Mail, the Robins are prepared to cash in on Flint this summer if their £4m valuation is met and at the moment, Aston Villa and Fulham are the two sides challenging Monk for his signature.
However, is the 27-year-old someone Christiansen should be taking a closer look at in his own pursuit for defensive recruitment, especially as – if the valuations are true – he could be acquired for almost half the price of Bartley?
