Leeds United and Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic reportedly want John McGinn of Hibernian.

According to The Daily Record, Hibernian want £3 million for Celtic target John McGinn, and Leeds United should make a move.
Celtic reportedly had an initial offer of £1.5m for McGinn turned down by Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian, who are claimed to be determined to hold out for £3m.
If £3m is all it takes for any club to prise the Scotland international midfielder away from Hibs in the summer transfer window then Leeds should not hesitate, especially as they were linked with the youngster earlier this summer.
Back in May, The Scottish Sun claimed of Leeds’s interest in the former St. Mirren star, and it would make sense for the West Yorkshire outfit to revive their interest in the 23-year-old.

True, Leeds have only recently signed midfielder Lewis Baker on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea, but the Whites could always do with good and talented players in that position, especially as they are aiming for promotion from the Championship next season and need depth in their squad.
The West Yorkshire outfit have some good midfielders such as Adam Forshaw, Pablo Hernandez, Samuel Saiz, Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira, but there is always room for enhancing squad depth.
McGinn has been a success in the Scottish Premiership, and with Celtic reportedly interested in the 23-year-old, it shows just how good he is and how much he can develop.
