Everton are also keen on a player who shares many qualities with N’Golo Kante.

RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita has been linked with multiple teams in recent weeks. The Mirror have recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race for the Bundesliga star. Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool are also said to be keen on the player – who would cost around £26 million, according to talkSPORT.

That fee makes Keita an absolute bargain for all four of the chasing pack.

The Guinea international, who only joined Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer, has been key to the German side’s excellent debut season in the Bundesliga.

His comparisons to Chelsea star N’Golo Kante are more than justified. If anything, he is just a more effective attacking version, with little detraction from his defensive game.

Arsenal are desperate for a Kante type in their midfield. Everton already have one in Idrissa Gana Gueye, two would make them a formidable force. Spurs have great midfield options but Keita might make them more of a force in European competition. As for Liverpool, Keita could genuinely turn Jurgen Klopp’s men into title contenders.

At £26 million in today’s market he would be a small price to pay to bring in the missing piece for all four teams.

Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham should prepare for war in order to bring in this player.
