Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react after noticing something in a training video posted by the club yesterday.
At 2:56 of the footage from Bodymoor Heath, some supporters thought they spotted Jack Grealish running in the background.
The England international has not played since the 0-0 draw with Brighton on February 13th, as he struggles with a shin injury.
The Athletic claim that Villa were hoping to have Grealish back to face Wolves later today.
However, Dean Smith revealed that the Midlands derby clash might come too soon for the Villa No.10, as Birmingham Live documented.
After watching the training video, some fans argued that it could also be Matty Cash running in the background.
The right-back has also been missing with a hamstring issue, after sustaining the injury in the aforementioned 0-0 draw against Brighton.
Of course, it will be a much nicer sight to see Grealish and Cash engage in full-contact, first team training.
However, it is encouraging to see one of them out running again – whoever it was at 2:56 in the video!
In truth, both are vital players, so it’s good to see that one could be nearing a return to full fitness.
