The Belgian youngster would be perfect for this Everton side.
According to a recent report from Belgian newspaper DH, Anderlecht are hoping to get around £21million for midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer, and that is a price reported suitors Everton would be wise to pay while they have the chance.
The Toffees have plenty of money to spend in the upcoming summer transfer window and while manager Ronald Koeman will not be forced into paying over the odds, the fee being touted for Tielemans suggests value for money in an otherwise inflated market.
As reported by the Mirror earlier this month, Everton are very keen on the 19-year-old and while a substantial outlay is always a risk, the young Belgian is the real deal.
This season Tielemans has scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 38 matches for Anderlecht and he is now fulfilling the potential he has been tipped to for many years.
Everton will know the importance of making a statement signing or two this summer as they bid to make the next step and potentially challenge for a top-four finish in the coming years, and Tielemans’ arrival would make clubs across Europe sit up and take notice.
For £21million, it seems a no-brainer.
