Hull City and Queens Park Rangers have been credited with interest in the Aston Villa defender.

Aston Villa’s Tommy Elphick has been linked with moves to both Hull City and Queens Park Rangers ahead of Friday’s 5pm deadline for loan signings.
But according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, it is Hull that looks like being Elphick’s destination, with the Villa defender said to be close to agreeing a switch to the KCom Stadium.
Elphick spent the second half of last season on loan to Reading, but began the new campaign as a starter in Aston Villa’s 3-1 win against Hull of all teams – although, with Harold Moukoudi expected to sign for the Villans on Friday, the 30-year-old’s chances of regular game time appear to be far greater elsewhere.
Yet, despite his roots in the south of England, Elphick looks set for a move in the opposite direction to QPR.

QPR, who have also been linked with Stoke City’s Geoff Cameron, have conceded at least two more goals (13) than any other Championship club this season.
Would missing out on the Aston Villa defender to Hull be a blow for Queens Park Rangers?
