Aston Villa lost to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship this past weekend.

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has spoken highly of Sheffield Wednesday to The Yorkshire Post.
Bruce was impressed with Wednesday during the Owls’ 2-1 victory over Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Championship this past weekend.
The Villa manager, though, has also seem to have suggested that the Owls were defensive.
Bruce told The Yorkshire Post: “That was only my fifth home defeat in 100 games with Villa, and twice against Sheffield Wednesday.
“We found it very difficult against a very resilient and organised Sheffield side, who played five at the back and four in front of them.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Villa Park this past Saturday, hosts Villa had 54% of the possession, took 18 shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
