The Aston Villa man admits that he still watches Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson, after managing him at Sunderland.
Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has told The Yorkshire Post that he still watches former Sunderland ace Jordan Henderson at Liverpool.
The 27-year-old midfielder has gone on to be a big success at Anfield since his big-money switch to Liverpool from Sunderland back in 2011.

The Aston Villa manager, then at Sunderland, was the man who sold the now-Reds captain, having previously given him his debut for the Black Cats.
And Bruce admitted to The Yorkshire Post that he is always delighted to see his former players doing well for themselves, revealing that Henderson is someone who he still keeps track of.
“It is nice when you see lads like those go on and do well,” said the Aston Villa boss, whose side host his old club Hull City at Villa Park this weekend in their Championship opener.
“It is the same for me with Jordan Henderson, who I gave a debut to at Sunderland. I watch all their games and am happy to see them doing well.”
The Villans finished 13th in the Championship under Bruce last season but, ahead of his first full campaign in charge, the veteran manager, who has four promotions to the top flight under his belt, will be aiming for a fifth.
