Burnley should look into signing the Aston Villa ace this summer.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has worked wonders during his time in charge at Turf Moor, but he has plenty of work to do this summer, if he is to guide his side to another top seven finish in the Premier League table this season.
One particular area where the Clarets boss will surely be looking to strengthen is his centre-forward department, with more competition required for the likes of Chris Wood and Sam Vokes.

With this in mind, Burnley should consider a move for Aston Villa hitman Jonathan Kodjia, and they could take advantage of the west Midlands outfit’s financial plight by nabbing the Ivorian on the cheap.

The 28-year-old joined Villa from Bristol City in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £11 million, and he has since gone on to rack up 20 goals in 51 Championship outings for his club.
Kodjia has suffered his fair share of bad luck with injuries during his time at Villa Park, but he seems to have put those problems behind him, after returning to somewhere near his best at the end of last season.

Standing at 6ft 2in tall, the Ivory Coast international is incredibly strong in the air, but he is also quick along the ground – two attributes that would provide Dyche with an entirely different option through the middle.
Kodjia’s ability in front of goal would undoubtedly help improve upon the potency of the Lancashire outfit’s attacking play and if the Burnley boss does manage to bring the Aston Villa hitman to Turf Moor this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Clarets.
