Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa side are keen to bring in Robert Snodgrass.

West Ham United winger Snodgrass has emerged as one of Villa’s top targets for the remainder of the transfer window, but doing a deal looks difficult.
West Ham loaned Snodgrass to Villa last season, but are thought to want to keep him around this time around.
However, McGinn is aiming to put in a good word about Villa to his compatriot.
He said: “I’ll be trying to get him back before the end of the window, that’s for sure.”
Snodgrass is unlikely to need any persuading to move back to Villa if the opportunity arises, as he is so popular at Villa Park.

Few loanees are taken into the hearts of the Villa fans like Snodgrass was, and claret and blues supporters are desperate for him to return.
Snodgrass did play in West Ham’s first Premier League game of the season though, coming off the bench in their 4-0 defeat to Liverpool.
McGinn, meanwhile, helped Villa to a 3-2 victory over Wigan on his debut, and the midfielder impressed with his showing.
