Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn has two goals to his name so far this season.

Smith suggested that McGinn was not putting his qualities to maximum use, as he wasn’t hitting the back of the net with enough regularity this season.
The Scottish midfielder scored his second goal of the season against Derby County at the weekend, as Villa won 3-0.
And McGinn now wants to start scoring with more frequency for the claret and blues.
He said: “The manager has been encouraging me to make more runs into the box because he believes I can score more goals. I agree with him.”

McGinn is being encouraged to time his runs more by Smith, with the Villa boss keen to see him get forward.
Smith has played McGinn regularly since arriving at Villa Park, with the Scottish midfielder impressing.
McGinn has been one of Villa’s players of the season so far this term, with the midfielder surprisingly consistent.
Villa are next in action when they take on Birmingham City in two weekends’ time.
