Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers will face each other in the Championship this weekend.
The 29-year-old central defender, who has been on the books of Villa since the summer of 2016 when he joined from West Bromwich Albion for an initial transfer fee reported by Express & Star to be worth £6 million, made the comments ahead of this weekend’s match between the two sides.
The Villans will take on Wolves at Villa Park in the Championship on Saturday evening.
“They have been the best team in the division all season,” Chester told The Birmingham Mail about Wolves.
Obvious but telling
Chester’s observation about Wolves is quite obvious. Anyone who has followed the Championship this season with agree with the Villa centre-back that the Wanderers have been the best team in the Championship this season.
The comments from the former Hull City defender are also telling in that even a rival player admits that Wolves have been the best team in the Championship.
