Aston Villa youngster Jake Doyle-Hayes has won Cheltenham’s Player of the Month award after a great start to his loan spell.
Villa have loaned Doyle-Hales to Cheltenham for the campaign, and it has not taken him long to win plaudits.
The Robins fans voted the Villa youngster as their best player for the month of August, as he impresses at League Two level.
Doyle-Hayes has played in all but one of Cheltenham’s matches so far this season, and has provided two assists.
The 20-year-old Villa man seems to be growing into his role in the bottom tier of English league football, as he gains more experience.
Villa will almost certainly be keeping tabs on Doyle-Hayes’s progress, as he is regarded as one of their brighter prospects.
Doyle-Hayes is one of a number of Villa youngsters out on loan around the lower leagues, with the likes of Callum O’Hare and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy also getting game time in the Football League.
